Nomads were one of 12 mixed teams taking part in this year's Ely Tournament over the weekend of 16-17th May, playing a total of 7 matches. Nomads won 3, lost 3, and drew 1, which was not sufficient to progress to the finals, but the squad had tons of fun in the theme-based event representing David Attenborough and numerous animals and dressing up for the fancy dress party on Saturday night. Some of us then camped along side the pitch and others stayed in nearby hotels, so we could go again on the Sunday. Overall a fun weekend and unanimously agreed to do it again next year!
