At the start of the season Martin graduated from Men’s third XI and started to play in the second team, initially as a substitute. He quickly joined the starting line-up playing as upfront on the right and increasing became a core plank of the team: keen and enthusiastic and regular attendee at training. During the year, he has grown in ability to receive the ball, to quickly get it under control, to run with the ball, to take on players and to beat them. His knowledge of the game, tactical awareness and positional play has improved during the season. The decision to award Martin as Junior Player of the Season is well merited. Well done, Martin!
