Following the World Cup Qualifiers in Santiago, Chile from 1st to 8th March, Wales have qualified to the World Cup thanks to 2 goals scored by Gareth Furlong from penalty corners in the match for third place versus Poland.
In the pool stage Wales finished second after France and then lost the semi-final against Ireland.
