Ladies 2s had a close game with Kettering unfortunately losing 3-1. The game started off pretty slowly with some play around the left half of the pitch. By half time we were 2-0 down after conceding some rather crafty and clever goals from Kettering.

In the second half the pace ramped up and the game became more intense. We had some great passes down the wings and some great shots in the D. Nomads got their own back with a goal struck by Katie from the top of the D hitting the bottom right of the backboard which gave the players some more confidence going onward in play.

We had some further great plays with excellent distributions from Lou and Bryony and some lovely line work from Charlotte and Flo. However, Kettering shot another goal in close proximity leaving the final score at 3-1.

Kudos to Lou for whom after having a ball to the eye valiantly carried on holding the defence strong.
