A draw for Ladies1s in local Cambridge derby

The Nomads side started strong as they drew 1st blood from a Bethan Davis strike. However the City side weren't beaten and came back with 2 goals before half time to take the lead 2-1.

The 2nd half was end to end with the Nomads defence holding the City strikers at bay. The home side drew the scoreline to 2-2 as a brilliant individual effort from man of match Linsey Porter when she took the ball from defence and carried it all the way until a final cross left Annie Marther just needing a final touch to find the net. After a frantic final few minutes neither side was able to brake the deadlock with the game ending 2-2.
