Long trip...Long Day

Nomads ladies 1s travelled to Long Sutton; Sutton quickly put away the first goal in open play, followed by a conversion of a short corner with a straight strike from the top of the circle, Nomads were awarded a penalty corner as the half time whistle was blown and this was nicely converted by Abi Halliday to secure Nomads first goal of the season. In the second half Long Sutton got one more goal in, the final whistle blowing at 3-1. A disappointing game for Nomads, player of the match went to Kerry Alexander for great work in defence.
