Our U10 mixed team travelled to Peterborough to play a festival against two Peterborough teams and two Cambridge South teams. The results were:
Nomads 0 – 1 Cambridge South 1
Nomads 1-1 Cambridge South 2
Nomads 2-0 Peterborough Blue
Nomads 1-1 Peterborough Red
This was the first time our U10s played on a ½ pitch, but they showed great skills and maintained the formation… most of the time. Their consistency at training is paying off as they continue to develop their skills, and the results indicating they are playing a good level of hockey. All goals came from young Oliver Hodsdon, from the Hodson hockey powerhouse. He was well supported by the team who created great passes and defended the Nomads goal with great tackles. A very hopeful future for all the players and the Nomads club. Well done everyone, really proud of today’s results!
