The U14 girls finished the first half of the season with a very encouraging performance in the final tournament of the year.
Up first they played St Ives. An end to end first half finished 3-3. In the second half, Nomads had all of the ball but couldn't make the pressure turn into goals and the match finished with the same score.
Next up, Wisbech. A dominant performance finished 6-4 and should probably have been more convincing but for the odd defensive lapse that let them back in to the game.
The final game against City ended the day with a 4-0 defeat. The one-sided result didn't quite reflect the play but did demonstrate the quality of their finishing and that they had a very good goalie. But we certainly had our moments and our chances.
Lots of positives to take into the tournaments in 2019. Well played girls
