Saturday 31 Aug - CLUB DAY; the hunt for the golden pineapple.

Part 1 - PLAY HOCKEY : meet at Coldhams at 11.50am for a 12.10am start. Mixed teams will be arranged to compete in a series of hockey based challenges to win the pineapple trophy. All standards welcome for mixed senior hockey. This will finish just before 2pm... just in time for part 2.

Part 2 - AFTERNOON SOCIAL for those who are ready for the first social of 2019/2020... we will head to Cambridge Aqua Park for 3pm (ready for a 3.15 pm briefing). At this point we will be ready for an action packed, fun-filled, competitive water park hour of fun. They are offering a 25% discount! £15 & we will need to know if you can make it and a £15 “deposit” by next Friday (23 Aug). Part 3 - EVENING SOCIAL @ The Clubhouse! Welcome to the Burleigh Arms CB5 8EG (https://www.burleigharmscambridge.co.uk/). Home of Cambridge Nomads HC. From 6pm we will see which team in the club can bring it and socialise in our brand new clubhouse, including the new Nomads Stick Pale Ale* at a special introductory price of £1.50 per pint!! L1 and L2 are joint favourites to win social team of the year so it’s up to the rest of us to measure up and show people how it’s done.
