Nomads Twos had a second trip to jolly Fenland last weekend. Wisbech struggled to find a one umpire let alone two umpires for the fixture, meaning that one on-pitch player from either side were required to blow. MASSIVE thanks to Seth for stepping up and doing both halves.
Wisbech Seconds are at the top of the table and they demonstrated themselves to be useful. By half time, Nomads found themselves 5 goals adrift, but that's not to say that we didn't have chances.
During the break, Nomads reorganised and tried a different structure, with Barry taking a more attacking role in the defensive line up in the middle of the park. The result was impressive: there were sustained patches of dominance in the second half.
Barry, in particular broke down their attacks and marched out (dare I say 'paraded'?) out of our half and ably powered Nomads forwards into enemy territory - our man of the match.
Ollie had two zany wobbles at the top of the D, but on both occasions was unable to dispatch a shot.
The final whistle whistle blew at 7-0 with Nomads showing periods of great play.
