With an injury-ridden side, Nomads fight fiercely, but City's fifth team prove to be just a little stronger

Across the club, Nomads were tight for numbers and additionally suffered from illness and injury. Occasional Rich Morgan immediately proved his worth, when City's youthful striker rounded our keeper and had the open goal in front of him. As he nonchalantly sauntered towards the goal line to tap in, he was unaware of Rich thundering across the D to narrow the angle. He realised the threat too late and his shot was parried by Rich's lunging stick. Morale - it's never too late to defend your goal!

City scored from a well-taken short corner routine flicked from the top of the D.

Zinny brought us back into the game: from the back, Dave found Matthew who beat his man on the edge of the D and possibly another one too, before passing to Zinny on the p-spot. Zin posted up beautifully, rounded the goal keeper and fired home.

City's second goal found aforementioned youthful striker at the top of the D, with a shot from his open side covered, he transferred to his reverse side and fired a swinging shot which was too good.

The second half surprisingly was a draw - although City had more chances than Nomads. In the end, the result was 1-2
