It was a glorious sunny afternoon at Coldhams. With a side much different from the previous week, Nomads welcomed the return of some key players, most notably stalwart Tim Fieth. Big stick, Alex Moots, also admirably reacquainted himself with Nomads hockey.
This game should credit an excellent team performance, but it was Alex Walsh who ripped up St Ives defense. Sugi can claim the first goal, but Sam's reverse stick strike from the top of the D was already goal bound by the time Sugi leveraged the ball over the line.
Alex scored his hat-trick in style, all displaying good team work, plus his individual skill: two before the half time whistle and another one in the second half. Finally, an excellent move from the half way line involved Arthur, Dave Spence and Sam. Sam's first time shot was saved, but slotted to Arthur to score an open goal.
