Nomads Two recover some pride in second half in first league match

Nomads Two started the season with mixture of age and experience, new faces and old - albeit more attacking than defensive. Spalding had obviously summered well and came out of the blocks fast. In the first half, they mercilessly punished a number of defensive Nomad mistakes.

At half time, Nomads found themselves 7-0 down. Nomads can take heart our second half display. Focused man-to-man marking and much improved communication radically improved our play. Pete Atkins managed to miss an open goal, hitting the post. At the other end, we only conceded one (excellent) goal, giving the final result 8-0.
